These Alwars and saints poured philosophy with the rhymes and rhythms through songs which has divinity in it. The Visidatvaida philosophy get itself deep-rooted due to the untiring work of Alwars and various other Vaishnavite saints. Vaishnavism which believes in karma, reincarnation and temple worship has won the mind of the millions as a sure method of elevating oneself. The icons in these shrines have been hallowed by saints, sages and hermits for long. Our country abounds with many shrines of both Vaishnavism and Saivism of fame and fervour. These Temples reflect the ideals and way of life of those who left it and for whom it was intended to operate as a link between the world of man and that of the gods. Temples have been built in all parts of India at different periods.
